David Glasser

David Glasser Biography

David Glasser is founder & chief engineer of Airshow Mastering, a mastering company w/ 3 mastering studios in Boulder, CO and Springfield, VA. He started his career as a recording engineer for the Boston Symphony Orchestra syndicated radio broadcasts, followed by a stint at National Public Radio in Washington, DC where he worked on Jazz & Classical remote recordings as well programs like All Things Considered and Morning Edition. Since 1990 David has been been involved in CD Mastering, and has worked on 50 Grammy Nominated projects. In 1997 he shared a Grammy for Best Historical Album "The Anthology of American Folk Music". In the past couple of years, David has been at the forefront of SACD production with over 50 titles mastered and/or edited at Airshow, including the surround release of Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells", and SACDs from audiophile labels FIM, Audioquest & Analogue Productions, and titles from Herbie Mann, Yo Miles!.

6 Surround SACDs from Telarc & Delos have been edited, mixed & mastered at Airshow as well as "Tubular Bells" surround mastering, & forthcoming multi-disc sets from Yo Miles! featuring Henry Kaiser & Wadada Leo Smith.
