A Tour of the New Production Facilities and Studios at BELL GLOBE MEDIA/CTV

Bell Globe Media (BGM) will host a tour of CTV's new "west wing" production building on Tuesday, Nov 20th. This facility houses the production and technical infrastructure for TSN and Discovery channels, as well as BGM's new digital channels, including WTSN and Animal Planet.

The technical plant centers around two television studios and two production control rooms, including the innovative new TSN open plan studio. On-line and post-production video facilities include 15 non-linear video rooms, comprising ten Avid Suites and five Leitch digital newsrooms, as well as five tape based on-line video editing facilities.

In audio post-production there are two Protools based 5.1 mixing rooms designed by Pilchner-Schoustal. Audio professionals are also likely to be interested in the communications and audio routing, both local and telephonic, that integrate various venues, including narration rooms.

NOTE: Please check in at the gate, where Security will direct you to the appropriate entrance. We will gather in Studio 11, however this is subject to change subject to availability.
