Wind-up Records has announced the expansion of its operations with the creation of Wind-up Entertainment Canada Inc. a full-service record company that will be distributed by Warner Music Canada. The headquarters will be based in Toronto, and will open for business on October 21, 2004. Ron Morse has been named the general manager for the new venture and will oversee all aspects of the business. For the past five years, Morse, a 20-year music industry veteran, was responsible for marketing International Repertoire for Sony Music Canada. Previous to that, he spent five years at Warner Music Canada, and 10 years at Sam The Record Man pre-dating his move to the record company side. ... More
