Anthony Montano
I went to high school with Anthony. We both played violin. He, much better than me. We sat together being second desk first violinists in the high school symphony orchestra. That meant that we would practice together one-on-one during our sectional practice sessions. I remember him repeatedly saying that he was going to make a difference in the music world. This was Grade 10. Being a high schooler my job at the time was to put him down and laugh at him. Look at what he has achieved. As described by the award he received he is a pioneer. I am proud to call myself his friend and his desk mate in the Oakwood Collegiate Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations Anthony. Well deserved. Thanks to The Academy for recognizing his incredible talent.
