Anjali B. Arnold is the founder and creative force of Quintessence Studio. A lifelong musical artist, she is a pianist, vocalist, songwriter, composer, arranger, and performing artist.

There are many practical issues in music production that may, at times, hinder a strict adherence to the basic theories of audio and acoustics. Sound recording practitioners are constantly faced with situations in which they must navigate between “following the science” and just getting the job done, with as little compromise as possible.

In Memory Of: Peter J. Moore

We’re sad to report that long time Toronto AES member Peter J. Moore has passed away.

Profile | Ed Marshall, Audio Engineer

Edward (Ted) Marshall has been at the forefront of classical music recording for over fifty years. He has recorded hundreds of solo artists, orchestras, bands, choral and chamber ensembles, in Canada and abroad with the CBC and his own company, Marshall Arts Productions.

On June 12, 2014, the Toronto AES presented a special meeting to honour the work of the highly respected University of Waterloo’s Audio Research Group (ARG).
